Magruder High School LEO Club President’s Report

The Magruder LEO Club has held two meetings, one informational meeting on October 21^st, where we explained what Lions and LEOs do to those who attended. There were 20 students who attended the first meeting. Our second meeting was held on November 20^th. We had 32 students attend.

We elected our Board:

On Sunday November 23^rd a group of LEOs put together 650 Thanksgiving boxes at the Cloverly Safeway. The boxes went to needy families in DC. The boxes contained turkeys, stuffing, potatoes, celery, apples, oranges, canned vegetables, and cranberry sauce. On Friday December 12^th, we have a trip planned to visit Rockville Nursing Home where we will help the residents decorate a Ginger Bread House and sing Christmas carols.
